Indulge yourself in a gap volunteer week in India which is designed to relax the body and soothe the mind. The Body and Mind week combines yoga and meditation with Ayurvedic treatments. It will certainly start you off on a journey towards achieving a fitter, healthier and more positive you.
This week will teach the basics of yoga and meditation as well as educate about the human body. It will help you make those lifestyle and dietary changes you want to by increasing your vitality and determination, while the Ayurvedic treatments will help with any physical aches and pains you may be experiencing.
The benefits of yoga and meditation come from continuously practicing it and consciously changing your lifestyle.
After breakfast on Monday you’ll be taught meditation, before heading for lunch. In the afternoon you’ll receive and Ayurveda consultation and head massage. Dinner follows. On Tuesday there’s yoga practice before breakfast and a leg massage and steam session in the afternoon. Dinner follows.
On Wednesday there is once again yoga before breakfast and this time a back massage and steam in the afternoon. Thursday involves meditation and Shirodhara. You’ll finish on Friday with a body massage and steam after meditation in the morning. Dinner follows on both Thursday and Friday too.
