Trip Details

Do you have a love for teaching or would just like the opportunity to pass on your skills and knowledge to make a difference to people’s lives? Taking part in this teaching program will give you the opportunity to do just that while experiencing the wonderful culture of Kuching! As part of the program, you will be teaching the children a variety of English based subjects in the beautiful setting of rural Kuching. Over the course of the week you will be expected to prepare and deliver lessons to these exuberant and friendly children. While you do not need to be a qualified or experienced teacher, it is important that you have an understanding of children’s behaviour and the patience to nurture them both academically, socially and emotionally. Your reward will be the appreciation of these children, who love to meet people from different cultures and backgrounds, and will show their appreciation of your hard work.
