Trip Details

A wonderful way to help the people of Palawan have an improved lifestyle. Due to a lack of a quality education on the island of Palawan, there is a lack of well-paid employment opportunities for the majority of the community. As a result, any money they have is spent on the cost of their day-to-day living leaving very little funds, if any at all, for maintenance and renovation of their properties. Similarly, the budget for maintaining communal facilities is very tight. The project aims to ease the burden for the underprivileged members of the community by providing construction and renovation work on homes, healthcare centres, schools and other facilities. While carrying out activities such as painting, building walls, renovating furniture and gardening, you will work alongside the local people of Palawan and other participants on the project. This will give you a unique opportunity for multicultural exchanges as you carry out your voluntary work. To take part in the project, you don’t need to have experience in the construction industry, just energy, fitness and a passion for making a difference to the lives of others. Through your joint working, you will form friendships and learn invaluable skills and knowledge from each other.

Please Note: Projects start on a Monday, however you should arrive over the weekend on either Saturday or Sunday.
