Trip Details

Our gap year venture in South Asia programme offers you the opportunity to work at the biggest kindergarten in the Maldives. Operated by a private organisation under the permission of the government, it provides free education for underprivileged students. Around 25 to 35 students staying at a local also attend this institution.

The kindergarten has 34 classes in total and around 850 students. You can contribute to the wellbeing of these kids by teaching them English and improving their communication and creative skills. Since Friday is an official holiday for Maldivians, on Fridays you will be actively taking part in the beach cleaning (tourist activity has caused pollution there).
