Hua Hin Beach Combi Experience Thailand
A beach holiday with a difference! Immersing you in Buddhist culture and beautiful, pristine beaches, the project perfectly mixes leisure with voluntary work. You’ll visit temples near the wonderful city of Hua Hin, help monks and learn about Buddhism. Spending your mornings engaged in activities, the afternoons will be free for you to relax and enjoy the stunning beaches.
You’ll be seeing the authentic Thailand as you visit Buddhist temples and learn about Thai Buddhism. What better way to do just that than to help out monks with their daily chores! Visits to several local markets will immerse you in Thai lifestyle and also get you tasting the delicious food and experiencing other produce.
Have an impact on the future by educating the children. The children in the rural communities of Hua Hin need your skills in English and other subjects. You’ll enjoy interacting with them as much as they’ll enjoy your activities!
Beach Conservation (Environmental)
Thailand is full of beautiful, tropical beaches that local people and tourists love! You’ll have the added bonus of an education about the plant life from the locals, and the methods in place to protect them. As part of this project you will be expected to play an active role in conserving them.
Options for a day at the beach are almost limitless, and each day you will be taken to a new one with glittering white sands and crystal-clear, sparkling waters. The only natural thing to do in this setting is to relax and unwind!
Please Note: Projects start on a Monday, however you should arrive over the weekend on either Saturday or Sunday.
You’ll be transferred from the base at Singburi to the centre where you will be given dinner.
Breakfast at the accommodation will set you up for a morning of excursions. You’ll begin with visiting Hau Mongmongkol Temple and then Pleanwan Market. Both beginning to immerse you in the wonderful Thai culture and the influences of Buddhism. After this you’ll be transferred to Hua Hin city where you can have lunch which you will need to provide for yourself. A free afternoon at the beach will leave you feeling refreshed ready for another cultural indulgence at the night market in the town.
After breakfast you’ll be taken to the dog shelter where you’ll witness the work being done to nurse dogs back to full health. A visit to the Artist Village will introduce you to some of the traditions of Thailand, followed by an exploration of Khao Takiab Temple. Another beautiful beach awaits you in the afternoon where you’ll be able to eat your lunch, which is not included in the package. Once you are completely relaxed, you’ll be transferred back to the centre for dinner.
Today, you’ll have a chance to give a little back as you help to clean a nearby temple with the monks. After that you’ll have time to explore Khao Tao temple before heading for another beautiful beach for the afternoon. At Sainai Beach you can eat lunch (which you need to provide for yourself) and enjoy the peace and quiet. After dinner at the resort, a night market in town will show you yet more of the cultural delights of Thailand!
An excursion to Pranburi Forest Park after breakfast will give you a chance to revel in the mangrove plantations. While there you will help to clean up the beach as part of the conservation work. During your visit to Seapine Beach in the afternoon, you can enjoy a lunch which you will need to provide. At the end of the day, you’ll be taken back to the centre to enjoy a dinner.
Winding down ready for your departure, you’ll have free time between breakfast and lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll be taken to a nearby beach to enjoy the calm surroundings. After dinner, you’ll be taken to Cicada market.
Depending on whether you’re heading home or on to another project, you’ll be transferred either to Singburi or to the bus station at Hua Hin.

From trekking in the beautiful mountains of the north to enjoying the glorious beaches in the south and experiencing the hustle and bustle of the metropolis that is Bangkok, Thailand is certainly not a country that lacks variety.
Whilst it really is at the heart of Southeast Asia, bordered by Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia and Malaysia, its cultural identity remains very unique. As the only country in Southeast Asia to avoid European powers, the Thai are proud to refer to themselves as ‘The Land of the Free’ and many tourists might also know it as ‘The Land of Smiles’ due to its friendly people.
