During this gap year volunteer in Chile week you will learn about Chilean culture, get an insight into the language and have a taste of what they eat in South America.

You will visit a local organic farm where they grow lots of different fruits and vegetables, get creative at a handicraft market where they produce baskets, bags and souvenirs etc, visit a monument and get to receive the warmth of Chilean people.

You’ll also take a Chilean cooking lesson, explore the area and learn the basics of the language. You’ll also get to understand how people here live.

Trip Itinerary

Monday to Friday

On Monday you’ll receive your culture introduction and a language class. After lunch you’ll go a tour of the village by foot and enjoy dinner in the city. Tuesday is a day for visits – the local monuments and markets. Wednesday you’ll take another language class and visit a lake and on Thursday it’s all about practical learning via a cookery class and handicraft work. Friday you’ll visit an organic farm.
