Trip Details

Experience rural Mozambique and get to experience for yourself what the country and culture is all about once you step away from the guide books. In this program you will live amongst locals in the authentic Mozambique countryside, where you’ll be helping with planting, watering, fruit picking, caring for livestock, cleaning up grassy areas around the farm and overall community work. Your daily activities will reflect the changing, seasonal needs of the area, and whether your harvesting crops or planting seeds, you will learn more about how the locals practice sustainable farming.

You will experience a real cultural immersion by working up close with local farmers. You will develop new skills and develop a greater understanding of their culture and lifestyle.
