Get your hands dirty gaining voluntary work experience while making a difference to people’s lives! In Thailand, many people are still affected by poverty. Designed to improve the standards of living, this project identifies the people in the local communities who need help the most. As a result, you will be working to make an immediate difference to people who live without proper sanitation facilities, in dilapidated buildings, and sometimes in homes that are unsafe. Additionally, communal buildings which need attention are also identified. So you could be placed on a site renovating temples, hospitals, schools, local medical centres or other facilities.
Monday to Friday
The activities you carry out onsite will be dependent on the immediate needs of the community. Tasks will be assigned when you meet with the project coordinators. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be taken at the accommodation centre but when you are on the construction site you can expect to be working for between 4 and 5 hours every day.
