As a gap year volunteer in Thailand you will be be guided through meditation and yoga exercises with an experienced yoga instructor, all on beautiful surrounding beaches.
Although Hua Hin is a popular and busy town, our programme and accommodation is set in a rural area not too far away and in a relaxing setting.
In between yoga exercises and relaxing beach sessions, we’ll visit the town several times. You’ll get to enjoy the many lunch options, discover new markets and revel in other sights and sounds.
Yoga is an ancient teaching used to ease the body and the mind via a series of poses called asanas. These improve the health of each and every organ as well as creating muscular strength and the ability to focus and concentrate better. Breathing property is one of the first and most important lessons you’ll learn.
This programme is open to all levels of Yoga practitioners, whether beginner or advanced. That’s because our yoga instructor will adapt to your level.
After breakfast on Monday there will be an excursion to Hau Mongmongkol Temple and Pleanwan Market. Lunch will be in town and afterwards you can enjoy a free afternoon at Hua Hin Beach. There’ll be a visit to the night market and then dinner. Tuesday morning begins with yoga then breakfast. There will then be an excursion to the Artist Village and later Khao Takiab Temple. After lunch there will be free time then yoga (which finishes with fresh fruit and tea). Dinner follows.
On Wednesday there is a visit to a nearby temple for Buddhist meditation training then a trip on to Khao Tao temple. Lunch will be in town followed by yoga at Sainai Beach. Dinner will be at the resort and there’ll be another visit to the night market in town.
Thursday and Friday both start with morning yoga and meditation. The rest of the day will be free time, except for a yoga session in the afternoon followed by fruit and tea. Dinner follows. Friday ends with a visit to Cicada market.
