Your gap year venture project will be held in Bali. The Yoga and Meditation programme is a whole week of learning and practicing Balinese Yoga. It’s ideal for both beginners and experienced practitioners.
Meditation is the art of focusing your mind, restraining your thoughts, and looking deep into yourself. Practising it can give you a better understanding of your purpose in life and of the divine, and it provides you with certain physical and mental health benefits. Learning basic yoga and meditation to relax body and mind can prove invaluable at certain times in everyone’s life.
Come along to one or two sessions or, better still, immerse yourself in a whole week of relaxation and contemplation.

Balinese Yoga is one of the most famous activities on this most tranquil and beautiful of islands. This course teaches different paths of yoga, as well as postures, breathing techniques and meditation.
After an introduction to the week, gap volunteers will enjoy an active week filled with meditation and yoga sessions every week day. Daily activities are centered on the mind and body both.
Mornings will involve yoga and meditation sessions, after which you’ll be served fresh fruit and tea. Then it’s time for breakfast and relaxing. In the afternoon, you will have lunch and spend the time freely until the afternoon yoga and meditation session. Then it’s time for fresh fruit and tea again. On Friday afternoon you’ll finish with a super-relaxing massage and spa treatment.
