During the gap volunteer Lovinia Introduction week you will become acquainted with the Balinese culture, study the local language and explore the northern part of Bali-Lovina and the beautiful surrounding areas.

It’s also a lovely beach holiday in an extremely exotic island. Here you will  challenge your culinary skills in the traditional Balinese cooking class, produce a traditional flower offering and explore the impressive Brahma Vihara Temple. It’s here that you will get the opportunity to immerse yourself in Hindu-Buddhism style and pray for good fortune.

Trip Itinerary

Monday to Friday

On the first day you’ll take part in a walking tour to the traditional market and the Centre of Lovina itself. On Tuesday you’ll take a class in Balinese local language skills and later try a bit of traditional flower making. On Wednesday you’ll go back into the language class then later learn to cook Balinese style. On Thursday you’ll visit Brahma Vihara Buddhist temple and visit the Holy Hot spring. Friday involves a project meeting and a visit to a local school in Lovina.
