Through participating in this social project during your volunteer gap year you’ll make a difference to the local community. You’ll do this by helping give local families and children better living conditions.
You’ll work alongside a local co-ordinator who will provides guidance and training. Local families will also be there working with you. The project involves hard physical and manual labour including brick laying, carpentry, painting, laying tiles, and landscaping/gardening.
Another side of this project involves renovating and creating drawings/paintings in several kindergartens and primary schools in Lovina.
Every morning after breakfast you’ll discuss that day’s work with the local co-ordiantor. Following lunch you’ll set out and start your particular construction work chore. This will run until early evening when you’ll go back for dinner, relaxation and socialising.
